Your sacrifices don’t appease God. It’s where your heart is coming from. You can go to church every Sunday and go through all the ‘spiritual’ actions, but your mind could never be focused or maybe not even there. The reason why God didn’t accept Cain’s offering was because he was faithless. We can go to every prayer meeting and worship service, but not have our heart or maybe even faith there. We may be able to fool our own hearts, but we can’t fool God.
